Monster Tree Service of North Pittsburgh is locally owned and operated. Cindy Starr Stewart started her career as a physics teacher at SV school district in 1994 after she and her husband graduated from Grove City College. She resigned after the birth of her second son and then went on to teach physics at SRU for another 10 years. She then worked as a sales engineer in industrial instrumentation and technical solutions for about 10 years. Cindy's husband Lance, who has a BS in Mech Eng, was the site leader at a manufacturing facility that had been acquired by Honeywell and was set to be closed. Having raised 5 children, they decided it was time to take the leap of faith and start their own business. Monster Tree Service strives to be the best of the best in the tree care service space. Employing people of high character and work ethic with strong tree care skills and knowledge. Cindy says, "They are like the Boy Scouts.
